This is a project I made during 2012, 'The woman behind' presents various images based on 1950's advertising images. This recreated advertisements were made to show up different themes/problems usually hidden from public sphere, like abuse, adiction, even natural topics like menstruation. For this I use only references with housewives or womans wich usually were shown as image of perfection.
At plain sight it seems just like an advertising image, but it is getting into the details how you really see the woman behind (here I add the details of every image if you can't see them from your screen).
