When not acting as a global submission manager at Pfizer, Inc, Jeffrey Autrey contributes to many nonprofit organizations in his community. Examples of Jeffrey Autrey’s chosen groups include the St. Vincent DePaul Society and Saint Agnes Catholic Church in Niantic, Connecticut.

Saint Agnes Catholic Church provides its members with many ways to serve. Volunteers can pick from engagements that suit their schedule and comfortable level of time commitment.

The parishioners responsible for floral ministry create the floral arrangements present during masses, while the St. Ann’s Guild cleans the church and vestments and related clothing and objects. Every Friday morning, volunteers deliver the Eucharist to homebound parishioners, and on Sundays after the nine A.M. mass, volunteers hold a mass at the Bridebrook Health Center.

Volunteers may also join in multiple forms of ministry during the weekly schedule of masses. Children in fourth grade or above may serve as altar boys and girls. Lectors read scripture during their scheduled masses, while children and adults may join the corresponding choir type. In addition to their appearance at masses, members meet once per week to rehearse.
