The brief was to research and create a campaign for your chosen subject. Mine being depression I went into detail to create a minimalist design posters to showcase to the public to create a bigger awareness.
The scrambled squiggle in the brain is something I created to represent the busy mind of depression. To explain the fact of a growth that just continues to grow if you continue to ignore it.

The quote used in the 1st poster I believe represents how people with depression feel, as sometimes talking to others about what's going on you can just be ignored or can be told the same things over and over again. The relief when you find someone who understands and not just listens is overwhelming because it feels as if you're one step closer to understanding it yourself.

Having the 2nd poster is really important because it shows that people who have depression can live with it, you just have to work with the bird (depression) to learn to fly and land safely. The quote for the 2nd poster is really an eye opener as it is explaining that you learn to look to the light but the darkness is still always there, however learning and understanding to work with both light and dark can help you to move forwards.
The following animation was created to visualise life with depression and how learning to fly with the bird (depression) can help you to take a step forward and keep going.
These posters would also work very well in a magazine as its the feeling of turning a page.
