Berry & Barrel is a botanical gin distillery whose identity captures the history and beauty of natural elements in gin-making. It conveys a modern approach to a classic and elegant process. Providing a uniquely distilled series of botanical gins, Berry & Barrel takes the tradition of gin-making forward in a fresh direction that stays true to its roots in history.
The labels combine gentle, free, and organic illustration and handwriting with tight, well considered structure to create an engaging contrast of elements. It results in a system that produces visual interest while remaining true to the ideals of the brand.
Coasters
The coaster set provides both a point of functionality and interactivity. A distillery, particularly with the aims of Berry & Barrel, is meant to be an experience of the brand and its ideals. To accomplish this, it is necessary to keep the audience engaged. The coasters provide a space for the customer to leave their own mark behind for others to discover. They can create their own cocktail or leave a review of a gin. In doing so, they contribute to the community behind Berry & Barrel.
Cocktail Guide Book
The Berry & Barrel cocktail guide employs careful typographic structure together with beautiful, organic visual elements to present recipes in a more unique way. The guide pages themselves are well organized to provide an ease of instruction while the ingredient pages display the individual pieces that make-up the cocktail in a wonderful watercolor style. In this way, Berry & Barrel is able to connect the consumer to the botanical sources.
