"Mare's Head" is a Ukrainian folk tale about a mystical creature which puts to the test moral principles and kindness of the heroes. This tale is scary sometimes, but at the same time funny, ironic and has a lesson to teach.
It is my favourite folk tale and I was very happy to create my own and modern version of the tale as a picture book.
