The Thing Poster
For this project I made a movie poster on John Carpenter's The Thing. I wanted to try out my hand at making an illustration using as few digital assets as I could. I depicted a scenery composed of various elements of the film, including the dog, the camp, and the petridish. I kept the pincers instead of replacing it with some wire because it conveyed the idea that it was a dish better, keeping with the medical/scientific feel of one of the scenes.
