Adaptive re-use
Public interior: event-space
Grey-Green has converted a nineteenth-century warehouse into an event space for lectures and social activities.
The space features an arch as a pure architectural form; other items echo the arch through repetitive smooth curves. The spiral stairs and bar counter are designed as art objects.
The name Grey-Green comes from the colour scheme, dominated by concrete and deep-green.
Remote control of lights from a mobile device ensures space versatility. Customising or dimming the lights for an event is enough to change the whole atmosphere.
