The Board of Directors Dinner in June 2022 was held in a newly restored Hall - the largest event venue at the Chamber. The room was at a finished point of cleaning and restoration work, but with some raw elements in anticipation of a next phase of modernization. To celebrate the first phase accomplishments and build excitement for the next, it was decided to celebrate the room itself as an event theme. I worked closely with archivists at the Hagley and did independent research to create a stage scrim with a historic photo, a video compilation of historic moments and documents, and a four panel exhibit. The exhibit panels told the stories of the artists involved in the original design of the room to include architect Cass Gilbert, muralist Ezra Winter, builder James Stewart & Co., and stone carver, John Donnelly.
