Sashiba's homecoming Junmai Ginjo

A kind of hawk, the grey-faced buzzard, which is classified as an endangered species II. In Ichikai-machi, Tochigi Prefecture, there is an excellent satoyama that serves as a nesting site for such precious birds.
However, the number of abandoned farmlands is increasing, and Satoyama and gray-faced buzzards are in danger.

Therefore, "I want many people to know about the bird called Grey-faced Buzzard, about Satoyama and nature, and about Ichikai Town." with the hope that

Sake brewery in Ichikai-cho Sohomare Sake Brewery is now on sale.

In addition, a portion of the sales will be donated to the Ichikai Gray-faced Bird Village Development Fund from Soho Sake Brewery.
It is such a sake that you can drink and contribute to activities to protect grey-faced buzzards.

絶滅危惧種Ⅱ類にされている鷹の一種・サシバ。そんな貴重な鳥の営巣地になる超優良里山が、栃木県市貝町(いちかいまち)にはあります。
しかし段々と耕作放棄地が増え、里山やサシバの危機。

そこで「サシバという鳥のこと、里山や自然のこと、市貝町のことを沢山の方に知ってもらいたい」そして「サシバや市貝町に縁を持つ人々に、これからも気軽に帰ってきて欲しい」という願いを込めて

市貝町にある酒造惣誉酒造製造の日本酒が販売となりました。

また、売上の一部は惣誉酒造から「いちかいサシバの里づくり基金」に寄付されます。
お酒を飲んでサシバを守る活動にも貢献できる、そんな日本酒です。

We received the highest award in the design competition this time and it was sold.
I wanted the label to have a soft and warm atmosphere,
I wanted to make it carefully by going through each process like making rice and making sake.
This time, the parts are carved one by one with a rubber plate and printed on Japanese paper. The final label part is satogami.

I hope that various birds including gray-faced buzzards will be able to live in a happier environment.

今回デザインコンペで最優秀賞をいただき晴れて販売となりました。
ラベルは柔らかく温かい雰囲気にしたかったのと、
お米づくりやお酒づくりのように1つ1つ工程を踏んで丁寧に作りたかったので
今回はゴム版で1つずつパーツを彫って和紙に刷って制作。最終的なラベル部分は里紙で。

サシバをはじめ様々な鳥たちが、より幸せに過ごしやすい環境になりますように。
