The outcome of the paradigm is to be able to parametrically control the stacking strategy that can be applied to any deformed surfaces. The craftsmanship and digital fabrication techniques develop simultaneously during the process of making. Each layer of construction highly relies on the layer precisely placed below. To maximize structural stability, modules are shifting responsively to surface changes to ensure the joint areas between layers that are at least 10% of the size of the module. Attractor points are introduced to manipulate regional dynamic changes in orientation. The manipulation forces are captured by the waving texture on the surface creating mesmerizing optical effects when viewing from different perspectives.

本參數化操控範例的最終目的在於研究一種可應用於任何曲面的搭建方案。項目的施工技藝與數位製造工藝在建造過程中相輔相成。鑄建每一層完全依賴於前一層的精確放置。為強化結構穩固,每一個模塊會自行響應曲面的變形,調整相互間的位置關係以確保層與層間的粘合面積不小於模塊體積的10%。 空間內多個「吸子」的引進便於更好的控制模塊在局部區域內的動態排列方向。從不同角度觀看時的視覺波動效應映間接射著「吸子」產生的控制力。
