The idea for this series came when I began inheriting old family photographs from my grandmother. They had been hidden away and forgotten for so long, and they represented a history that was being lost with time. I wanted to present them in a way that revived their value and appeal, and so I began using them in kaliedescopic ways, dividing them and creating mirror images, revealing in each image hidden personalities.
