Here you can see one of my major projects of my time as a student.
The goal was to create a market ready piece of furniture that solves a problem of a target group. In my case this was a piece of furniture for board sport enthusiasts.
I created this piece based on the insights of my market research.

With the background of the increasing population and the associated scarcity of resources, the demand of consumers for sustainability in all areas of life is increasing. It is therefore necessary to question the current value chain and to build it up from the ground up to be more resource-efficient and environmentally friendly. This product represents an opportunity to create a better future for our entire environment. For this reason, the author has decided to incorporate all sustainability aspects into the conception of this piece of furniture. Early on in human history, people began to equip their own living space with furniture to facilitate certain everyday processes and to create order. Nowadays it is no lon- ger possible to imagine a household without furniture. It is all the more important to analyze the furniture manufacturing process and optimize it in terms of sustainability. In this work, this happens in the course of the design of a piece of furniture for board athletes, a target group that has so far been almost completely untapped by the furniture industry.
