The color studies project was to paint over any object of your choosing using a certain color scheme. My favorite flower is an orchid, so I chose to paint this. The orchid was definitely a challenging one because of all the details in the pedals but, I eventually learned that I could just copy the layer with all the smaller details and paste it over the base color for each different theme.
