PresentationProject dedicated to portraying the importance of the female figure in the African diaspora.Yabá is the name given to the "goddesses" of the African pantheon worshiped by people from southwest Nigeria, southern Benin (former Republic of Dahomey) and Togo, where the kingdom of Ketu and the empire of Oyo, in West Africa, historically inhabited .The Yabás have an important participation in the structural culture of the Yoruba families, where they stand out for their strength, power in war and fighting for the protection of the family structure. Most of them are warriors and powerful strategists and unquestionable examples of mothers.Flores à Yabás has the proposal to demystify the great mothers of the Yoruba people, showing in images their respective environments in the midst of nature with the artistic interference of flowers, as a form of aesthetic construction of the image.
