Avalanche is an american blockchain company that started scaling its events scope to encompass over 5,000 attendees in Barcelona’s iconic Poble Espanyol over an entire week in March 2022. This project was conceptualized and constructed during my time at SpaceWorks in Lisbon and, as a team, we engaged on a repeat basis to provide comprehensive design, planning and production services for key venues within the 49,000m2 complex.

   The project was designed and produced in less than a month and, not only was I responsible for most of the architecture 3Ds and technical drawings using Rhino 3D, AutoCAD and SkecthUp, but it was also my responsibility to assist and guide all the different construction and production crew teams during a period of 10 days, from construction until dismantling.

     We designed all the pods for the different sponsors of the event, all the stages, bars, orientation totems, layouts and the merch store. Since the park/museum is vast in size, we also conceptualized the space orientation for the event, with signage and spatial branding.
