The design of this Latin typeface, named Playground Sans, began as a result of a commission project that the studio undertook last year, and after a reconstruction and development during our WFH period and during the Shanghai Lockdown, we began to use it in a series of internal and external visual materials for our studio Pocca. Looking back on the design process, especially during this long period of time of the lockdown, the ambiguity and chaos of the experience and feeling of space, time, and logical scale of the world we live in became our guide for the development of this typeface as a clue...
