Made of Paper
Concept art for a personal comic I've had in the works for years, but never got around to fully committing to a story. Made of Paper was meant to explore the afterlife, limbo, and gatekeepers. My concept for the keepers beyond the gate was inspired by plants, and subsequently, paper. I find the Japanese Shinto belief to be very fascinating and dived into any folklore I could find on life and death.
