Hercules and Heracles
This series started as a statement against gender stereotypes still present in the modern world.
The exhibition concept is based on the binary imposed by society and how gender expression transcends it, having both male and female elements. Hercules and Heracles are different sides of the same coin and only the people's perception of them is different.
The works are meant to mirror each other to show that gender is a fluid and expansive concept that is not limited to societal standards.
