PERSPECTIVE
Perspective drawing is an approximate representation, on a flat surface (such as paper), of an image as it is seen by the eye. The two most characteristic features of perspective are that objects are drawn: smaller as their distance from the observer increases Foreshortened: The sizes of an object's dimensions along the line of sight are relatively shorter than dimensions across the line of sight.

ONE POINT PERSPECTIVE
When the projection plane is parallel to two principal axes, conversely perpendicular to one of the principal axis, one point perspective occurs. Lines along one of the principal axis converge to a vanishing point.

8 POSITIONS OF CUBE IN ONE POINT PERSPECTIVE
An object in one point perspective can exist in any one of the eight positions with respect to the observer's eye level.

TWO POINT PERSPECTIVE
Most common perspective is two point perspectives.  The projection plane is parallel to one of the principal axes or if plane intersects directly with two principal axes, two point perspectives occurs. The horizontal rays are not parallel and converge at two vanishing points.  In simple words it occurs when we view an object form one corner.

THREE POINT PERSPECTIVE
When the projection plane is not parallel to any side of the principal axis,  a three point perspective occurs. It creates three vanishing points.
