WASH-X PARK LIFE.
Wash-X is the local name for Washington's Crossing - there are two park areas in both PA and NJ split by the Delaware River, and connected by a narrow bridge. It is a lovely, very well cared for State Park. On the PA side there are many buildings that have been under renovation for sometime so there are fences, scaffolding, lifts, digging machines here and there. I wanted to document the park, bridge and buildings in this transitional state using a digital infrared camera.

I know this set could belong in the SPACE HUBS portfolio, which started out with places of assembly, but then extended into State and Government buildings.

Since I have had this camera for a few years, the processing of the mostly red digital negative is not that ideal. It really has to be done manually with channel swapping. This set does not look like typically converted digital infrared - I just preferred the rich warm tones during the stages of processing.

My interest to further the images is the mirroring and folding for the sake of geometry, and symmetry.
