Wherever I go, I try to visit a local market. They are a great introduction to the local cuisine and people. Fresh products, buzzling alleys and new conversations, they differ from stall to stall. Coming from a Western country I am used to big supermarkets with high tech technology. Markets from other countries show me that the lack of luxuries are no problem - and in fact add to the charm of daily life.
