Visual Communications Portfolio for
St. Peter's
My role in this position is to design posters and advertisements for posters and flyers that are displayed around the parish. I wanted a space to keep the work in.
June 2022: These posters had been created to inform people what services would be happening in the month. The version above was the first version. However, I decided that thought that the vanilla colour of the title did not match the rest of the poster. So, the version below was the final poster that was displayed.

Choral Evensong Posters
A range of posters designed for the evening services. I was keen to incorporate the style that I had established in the earlier posters by using the same typeface and colour scheme. This was done to give the Church a branded identity.

This was the first use of illustration that I had incorporated into a poster. I thought that the graphic would be appropriate. As the poster is landscape, without the illustration the text looks pushed to left. The illustration fills the empty space with something that is relevant and appropriate to the event it is advertising.

I was keen to alternate the orientation of the posters. I did this because as for this particular job the client wanted to establish a strong sense of brand-identity through the colour and typefaces. I feel by changing the orientation keeps the image and information fresh whilst approaching the project from a new angle.
