Logo: Java Stop Coffee Shop

Another Daily Logo Challenge entry - this time, I wanted to do something a little more abstract than I've been producing lately. A coffee shop was a great case study - after all, look at Starbucks. What the hell does a mermaid's face have to do with coffee?

With this logo, I did start with the base idea of a coffee cup - but then I removed the handle and distorted it. My goal with this one was to catch the viewer's eye and then stick in their mind.
