The initiative Jail Se was taken up to utilize the facilities and infrastructure available at the Ahmedabad Sabarmati Jail to empower the inmates. At the time of the project when pandemic was at a peak, Masks as a commodity were designed so it can be produced using raw materials such as the fabric made in jail itself and be sold in the market vastly. They were designed to provide a function while aiming to instill an awareness towards the life of inmates and an association to a product produced in the jail.
