Assignment
Once at the Kiev National University of Technology and Design I was tasked to develop a logo for the Department of Fine Arts and Graphic Design. The old logo was not of good quality and did not convey the right message.
Solution
My idea was to show the connection between the art of the past and today's design. I believe that it is important to know the basics of art in order to develop a modern and quality design. That's why I decided to convey this idea through the "La Gioconda" image, but in a modern, vibrant style.
The logo's signature colors convey the vibrant mood and positive attitude that students receive while studying in the department.
