The 2021/2022 season was my first as OLSC Italy's Senior Graphic Designer and Director (for Live Streams).
MATCHDAY GRAPHICS
Liverpool's away kit colour scheme was the inspiration behind this retro template for the matchday graphics - as per team request. I created a three coloured stripes as the starting point for every single piece of the season. The background was changed according to the competition, as seen above with the Champions League adn FA Cup ones.
SPECIAL MATCHDAY GRAPHICS
Luckily the team went to 3 (!) cup finals and to mark the occasion a custom, different matchday graphic was created each time. The rule for me has always been "continuity is key": the trophy, two keys players and the glue of everything we do - Klopp. Behind it all the outline of the stadium in which the final was played provided the final touch I was looking for. The away kit stripe I created were included as well, to tie it all together.
GOAL GRAPHICS
Once again, continuity - so creating the (new) goal graphics was pretty straight forward. Custom for each social media we use to provide match updates (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram posts and Instagram Stories), The stripe is ever present and the retro vibe remains.
STREAMYARD BACKGROUNDS
Our post match live reactions are so important to what we do as an OLSC. Just like the matchday graphics, I created backgrounds for Streamyard (the platform used to live-stream) according to the competition of the game we were reacting to - hence the Champions League, Carabao Cup and FA Cup versions.
SPECIAL GRAPHICS
During the international breaks, or whenever we needed to, we went live to talk about different topics such as books about Liverpool FC, club dynamics, etc. The template remains the same but the colours change to provide variety - the stripe is always there, though.
FANZINE
One of the OLSC Italy's classics - the quarterly fanzine - continued throughout the 2020/21 season. As ever, I was asked to provide the back cover of every number which was always tied to whatever what was happening at the time.
FANZINE RESTYLING
The new cover template. I took care of the new logo and the texts that go onto it. The design is someone else's responsibility.
After launching the completely new restyled website (see all about it here), we thought it was only right to change the layout of the Fanzine to match the website's vibe and overall direction of it. A minimalist, simple but yet clear enough layout (as shown in some examples above) is what the team were looking for me to deliver.

MISCELLANEOUS GRAPHICS
Different graphics were created during the season to promote different content.
Extremely excited to announce that I'll be back for the 2022/23 season, after being appointed Head of Media.
