Class 4 - Seasonal Coupon Promotion

In this project, we worked with a combination of InDesign and Illustrator.  The lining up of the boxes and text were able to be done using InDesign's convenient ruler tools and smart guides.  The effect of the dashed line was also a premade style.  We also learned a lot about the language used in coupons to promote sales, and added expiry dates to the coupon to really make them as authentic as possible.

The next project was to make a promotional postcard - which again has very rigid sizes and margins that have to be adhered to for printing purposes.  The size of the corner stamp is exact as well.

Personally, I enjoyed the design element in Illustrator of this assignment more than the InDesign portion.
