DF–01 is based on one of Dennys’ recurring characters that exists within his paintings, packaged in a neat pastel pink box with a certificate of authenticity in each one designed by Sherrien Cuaca. The character is a portrait of Dennys’ ideal self, painted by his subconscious. The character’s bulky build symbolizes a powerful personality. The bold coloration featured on DF-01, a green and white t-shirt with blonde flat top hair along with the pink box itself, and having these colors staying true throughout Dennys’ artworks symbolizes Joy. But despite all those symbols, Dennys’ artworks are expressions of pain. Telling us that there are more than meets the eye.
