This brochure was created for a uni project that required to create a six-panel brochure displaying key aspects of a famous designer's work in order to appeal to a contemporary design aware audience. For this, I chose famous Swiss graphic designer, Armin Hofmann. Throughout the brochure I used typography and illustrative designs similar to Hofmann's work to create connection between the reader and the designer.
A lot of research was conducted to find the appropriate font styles as well as colour palette that was similar to Hofmann's design style, which was difficult because I didn't want to copy the exact style. As part of the brief, images of the designer's own work were required to be displayed on the brochure, therefore, I had to creatively combine the design style and the images.
Overall, I am happy with the result of this project because I was able to develop a design for a brochure detailing the life of Armin Hofmann using various visual language skills such as type and imagery.
