BWCWAS 01: I AM ROCKSTAR
BWCWAS is a Bi-Weekly Challenge initiative started by a group of colleagues in an agency with the aim to inspire and improve each individual's technical and creativity skills. Every 2 weeks, a theme will be given, and participants will be required to set their own goal and achieve that goal within the deadline.
The theme for this week: MUSIC
GOAL: To create a character animation loop related to music.
PROCESS
Spent the first week brainstorming ideas. Many of which are too ambitious to achieve within 2 weeks. Finally settled on a rockstar performance theme and quickly move on to the production stage before it's too late.
Due to time constraint, I could only make simple character designs and rig, which is quite different from what I originally had in mind. The length of animation has to be short as well to cater in for render times.
STYLEFRAMES
All in all, I think I've achieved the goal that I've set myself. Perhaps, in the next challenge, I will speed up the brainstorming process and choose something simple to execute to give myself more time on execution and crafting.
