This is a micro-project for a house in New Jersey. The clients requested a plan for a built-in fireplace in their dining room. Since the mentioned room had vaulted ceiling, the traditional symmetrical placement wouldn't work well in terms of composition. Together with the clients, we decided to give it a straight modern look with asymmetrical placement and highlights in dark paint. 

For reference, below are a couple of photos of how the dining room looked originally. Designs were finalized but the project is still under construction.
