Angel in the Aspens
Shimmering aspens, reflecting life
Your limbs outstretched to her,
Feathered wings caress your bark
Golden leafy fingers, lightly stir.
Angel in the Aspens
You appear by love and grace,
Upon the tree you lean and rest
Your lovely angel’s face.
God’s glowing presence surrounds
Your feathers, so soft and light,
And your hands clasped in prayer
The resplendent soul invites.
Blessing the glowing forest full
Your gown of silk and gold,
Oh Angel! What mysteries of Heaven
Have yet to me, be told.
