Listening to VS Watching Women

Women of color are perceived and heard differently.
There is an additional barrier of othering and questioning that we face, and it's one that we often even put up in front of each other. Misogyny and racism are so systemic that they do and will take constant and cognizant work to unpack and wreck.

I still catch myself stopping to unpack doubt in other women and myself as a woman of color and someone who 'shouldn't be' where I am often.

Who can relate?
