Stop Motion Clay Animation
Aim:
The aim of the project was to convert a Devanagari letter into an object. Devanagari letter न looks like a tap. नल in Devanagari means Tap. Therefore, I choose to animate न into a नल (tap) water running animation.

Material Used:
Molding clay is used for the letter transformation. Clay tools for carving and applying smooth surfaces. Hard board paper for the background. The animation frames are captured on my phone which was attached to a tripod for motion and still photography.

Video Making:
The animation is done in a studio using a tripod with appropriate lights. “Stop motion studio” app is used to create the video. It is an easy-to-use interface that lets you create easy, smooth and beautiful animated movies. Sound effect is applied on Adobe Premiere Pro.

Conclusion:
Stop motion animation can look overwhelming to produce at first, but with the right tools and stop motion software the results can be worthy. It was a great opportunity to learn skills of cooperation and creative thinking. I thoroughly enjoyed the process and the result.
