For the Trial and Error workshop with Archief Cairo, we were asked to design exciting bag designs for hypothetical shops of our imagination that reflect the true visual language of the cairene culture. The results of the workshop were to be printed on a risoprint using only the colors pink and blue. We drew inspiration from nostalgic packagings, banners and humor related to Cairo's exciting visual culture. This design was inspired by an imaginary parallel universe where Mcdonalds was an authentic Egyptian koshary restaurant.
