Seljalandsfoss is a waterfall that can be fully encircled, situated on the South Coast of Iceland with a drop of 60 metres (200 feet). Due to the waterfall’s impressive natural features, it is one the country's most famous and visited falls. Majestic and picturesque, it is one of the most photographed features in all of Iceland.

Douglas Dakota DC-3 C 117 Aircraft wreck at Sólheimasandur
The aircraft, a Douglas R4D-8, a Super DC-3, was originally in possession of the US Navy and considered to be a symbol of the golden age of air travel.
Originally utilized as a cargo aircraft, the US Navy was routinely flying over Iceland during the 1970s as a part of its unilateral defense agreement with the country. Iceland is a NATO member, and US forces had a permanent base on the island until 2005.
