Google Ephemeral Marker Murals

|| Google Ephemeral Marker Murals, 2021-2022 ||

A series of murals for Google Singapore's kitchen in Jurong based on various festivities and topics, mainly revolving around food. The designs were drawn with erasable markers and tempera paint on glass panels, changing it up every few months for a different atmosphere. So far we've completed 4 murals for them, hoping for more to come!

|| Google's 23rd Birthday, 2021 ||

With a focus on celebrating Google’s 23rd birthday, the wall was reimagined to raise awareness on making a positive impact on the world’s food systems and helping to feed the world sustainably. This ephemeral mural marker painting also places emphasis on showing family and community spirit as the Food program has been at the heart of
Google’s culture of innovation and collaboration.

|| Festive Marker Mural, 2021 ||

Focusing on creating a lively and engaging mural surrounding the festive season, this second mural is food-focused to give a warm feeling to everyone. The mural includes elements from the general festive theme like people laughing and chatting, lights and food, allowing the design to be evergreen and to still be relevant even after Christmas.

The Google Food logo was incorporated into the design with live drawing of people, allowing the employees to be a part of the mural as well. By integrating doodles of people into this marker mural, it gave a personalised experience for everyone.

|| International Women’s Day, 2022 ||

Adapted from a separate mural "Tako" at Google's main office in Mapletree Business Park, we recreated this design and added some extra elements to it. Featuring food icons and a female chef with multiple arms, this mural focuses on the capabilities of women and supports breaking the gender bias in the workplace.

|| Pride Month, 2022 ||

To celebrate Pride Month, this mural was visually represented with rainbows, food and a sense of diversity. Using an analogy with fruits representing people, a variety of fruits and vegetables of different shapes, sizes and colours were included.
