I loved the idea of making a poster for a food truck rally as I could have fun with it, including drawings, shapes, and colors. I was able to go into illustrator and spend some time using the pencil tool to draw out the hotdog and hamburger drawings and also draw out the squiggles that go behind the text. I transferred these drawings into indesign, and there also added shapes and the text. I think that all of the colors make the design fun and family friendly which is exactly what I was going for. I took the same elements from the poster and added them to the social media posts to create cohesion.
