Multi-Perspective Jetpack Navigation & Refueling

I started this off as an ambitious project codenamed 'Firehold'. It turned out to be a playground for some interesting 3Cs mechanics.
The player has one resource - fuel. It is displayed as a bar at the bottom and it is consumed whenever they move upwards (in a jetpack-like fashion, pressing the jump button) or sprint forwards.
The player can toggle between first and third-person camera views:
A number of 'orbs' are placed throughout the level. Collecting an orb increases the player's fuel, allowing them to jump/sprint further. When all orbs have been collected, a 'portal' to another level opens.
