The Challenge
A few years ago, a Michelin Star chef from London’s River Cafe and his wife wanted to swap the hustle and bustle of London to a slightly gentler pace of life in the South of England, with the concept of opening a restaurant that was small, but focused heavily on using only the finest ingredients for a fine dining experience. They not only wanted to source local produce, but go out and hand pick what was right and perfect on the day. We were asked to create a brand identity that would support this concept.

What We Did
The look and feel of the brand identity had to reflect that of nature, health, organic produce and wholesome food, whilst keeping a clear message that this was, in fact, a fine dining establishment. The brand name, Field & Fork, and the logo were designed to support this concept, which then led onto many touch points – adverts, signage, staff uniforms, menus, restaurant livery and so on. We also designed their shop front and website.

The Result
Within a year, Field & Fork went from running a small restaurant, which offered up to 20 covers, to become the restaurant at Pallant House Gallery in Chichester, allowing for around 80 covers.

Our work allowed them to become recognised and established within Chichester and further afield, resulting in an offer from a highly-respected gallery to become their in-house restaurant. Field & Fork are now looking at going into the Good Food Guide. We continue to give them ongoing support with their brand collateral.
