Gift Booklet
I chose the talk "God's Love: The Most Joyous to the Soul." for this project.
The purpose of this project was to choose a talk from the most recent General Conference and great a multi-page gift booklet. I had to focus on typographic hierarchy and create a book that was inviting.
My booklet had to be legible and readable. I you different colors, font styles, sizes, and space to give my book hierarchy. Some of the questions I had to ask myself as I designed were:
. Can you tell what it is?
. Are the colors and typography in harmony with the message?
. Are there enough differences on each spread to maintain interest?
. Can it be skimmed for information?
. Is it clear from one page to the next where to read?
I picked the talk God's Love: The Most Joyous to the Soul by Sister Susan H. Porter. I loved this talk about how we are loved and we can receive strength when we know of this love.
