Mental Health Awareness Campaign - Analog Typography

This is an awareness campaign aiming to end the destructive stigma surrounding today's public mental health crisis, start a conversation, and shed a positive light around this subject where people feel safe to share their stories.
Mental Health refers to cognitive, behavioral, and emotional well-being. It is about how people think, feel and behave. Mental health can and will affect daily living, relationships, and physical health. Stress, depression, and anxiety can affect mental health and disrupt a person's routine and limit a person's ability to enjoy life. Mental health can affect anyone, it does not differentiate, still we treat people who are affected as outcasts.

This topic is very important to me for many reasons. I have friends of my own who struggle with depression, anxiety, and stress as a result of many factors such as overwork, and social pressures ranging from peer pressure to academic pressure. In this day and age, almost everybody's life is public and in your face, which creates the need to compare one's self or life to another, and sometimes one struggles to feel competent and enough, that alone can take a toll on a person's mental health. Mental health has bee present for a long time, but these two years the world on a global scale is facing life's most difficult ties, and the pressure to maintain a healthy mind has never been harder.

My mission is to raise awareness on mental health an end the destructive stigma surrounding today's most prevalent public health crisis because as a young college student myself I know the importance and the struggle of staying in a healthy productive mindset, one can't be productive and perform to his full potential if he's struggling mentally.

By raising awareness on this issue, I hope we can start having this conversation and shed a positive hopeful light around this subject, where  people feel unashamed to share their stories, and maybe step by step we will help recover our society and end the system's mental oppression.
Through analog typography, my goal was to represent what people with mental illness feel. Usually there's a feeling of isolation, a detachment from reality, the mind's isolation from the body, and an isolation of thoughts.
