Tarot Cards | ILLUSTRATION DESIGN

This project was a part of a pack of tarot cards which based on Egyptian well-known superstitions and myths.
The first card represents "The Pharaohs' curse" where this topic is widely known in Egypt. People believe that the Pharaohs were so powerful to the extent that the curses they created around and inside their monuments are still powerful and working until today.
The second card is the "Rats' room", this is an Egyptian expression that we used to get told when we were kids where if a kids misbehaves, he/she is threatened to be taken to the rats' room where it is very gloomy and terrifying.
The third card is about "Abu real maslookha", this is a fictional character that has a flayed leg and it is believed that he kidnapps and tortures children.
The series was first sketched then it was transferred to a digital illustration and then it was carved on Lino and got inked.
