Building a global airline brand with Emirates Airline

Who wouldn't take the opportunity of working on what would become an award-winning, internationally acclaimed airline account. I moved from working at Saatchi&Saatchi in London to BBDO Dubai to work on Emirates Airlines global advertising account. The brand was unknown, expanding globally at an incredible rate and needed creatives to join their agency BBDO in Dubai. What followed was a tonne of briefs, inspiring leadership and the chance to create some of the best advertising on the planet. International awards, never won before in the Middle East started to become a regular feature in the agency thanks to the work I did with Emirates.

London Advertising Gold

I won a London Advertising Gold for a global campaign for Emirates Airlines launching flights to Milan. the campaign was titled "Espresso to Milano" where flight crew were able to give Business and First Class passengers "espresso" coffee on these flights. A first for any airline at the time and a first for an agency to win such an award in the Middle East. Emirates took flying to another level with their innovative brand strategy.
New York Festival finalist

Winning a finalist award for a global campaign for Emirates Airlines. this time they were launching flights to Munich. The campaign was titled "To Munich and Bach". Emirates were giving away free cd's of Bach's classical music to Business Class passengers to celebrate. Advertising, press, radio were all part of each campaign we did for Emirates Airlines.
