Chicago Destination Poster
Downtown Chicago feels different than any other city. From the gorgeous architecture to the Chicago River running between buildings, to the iconic Bean and the rest of Millennium Park. The city has its own identity. The identity goes beyond that even, the neighborhoods are filled with cultural diversity and each hold onto their own unique intricacies. All in all, Chicago is a special place and, to me, no other city will feel quite like home.
The very first major project in my Intro to Graphic Design class, we were asked to create a vector poster, created in Adobe Illustrator, of any destination. My goal was a capture an aspect of the city that is specific to Chicago, that makes it different from any other city. So, I highlighted the architecture boat tour that takes place on the Chicago river, winding through the stunning buildings.
