Although I made this logo using Photoshop, I used paths in conjunction with vector masks to draw the logo, those paths could then be transferred to Illustrator and scaled up if needed. This logo was primarily made to be used on letterhead and in various media applications on the internet.
I've found that logos appear differently when they undergo a size alteration. In regards to this particular logo, I'd prefer to redesign the font and typography if it were going to be used on a t-shirt or anything larger.
Towards the end of design process I did a quick mash-up for the client, who wanted to see the logo in a variety of colors. I also included a variety of fonts.
