Wood Laminate Chair project
This project started with a brief of creating an object in which an individual can sit or postrate. We brainstormed and investigated on what we wanted to focus and we found inspiration in the Zaisu. A Zaisu is a traditional Japanese chair with no legs but a normal chair back.
We liked the concept about the chair sitting directly on the floor but we wanted to also bring comfort to the user. With this in mind we made a proposal of a chair in which you can sit in different positions, but we recommend the Sukhasana posture because it brings many benefits to your back.
