Shot during a Sunset in front of Los Angeles Airport(LAX) - Object was not a plane, left a fiery smoke trail which dissipated shortly after this picture.  Subsequent Pictures reveal a small black missile like object continued along the same path but no longer spewed out smoke or flames.
