Here’s the new opening. Producers requested a lighter, fun approach. I used a comic book/ graphic novel style to showcase segments and elements in the event. Each panel was made to reveal with parallax movement. Cinema 4d created a photo projection mapped model of the venue and my new animated logo.
For the 25th anniversary event, I animated a crest and re-enactor video textured to a U.S. map
Costumed student performances were composited over flag elements and stitched together in After Effects as a video environmental map to reflect in the text. The floor is an extruded spline textured with a motion text roll made in AE. A Cinema 4d Mograph falloff effector animated the text. Post effects were added in AE.
