General Conference Talk - Booklet

Booklet - (back page and cover) ...The booklet project consisted of a total of twelve pages. We were to chose a General Conference talk from the most recent General Conference, one that stood out to us. Some of the requirements were to use at least 3 colors throughout the booklet, use only one picture (it couldn't only be of the person giving the talk), to use the principles of design to create interest/flow/hierarchy throughout to name just a few. The color palette was chosen to reflect the word "Restoration" as well as, to reflect that with the typography of the days of the week while keeping the cover and back very simple as to not take away from that part. Avenir Next LT Pro was used for the title, subtitles, footnotes, notes, and pull-out quotes. Stempel Garamond LT Pro was used for the body text

Booklet - (inside cover and page 1)...On the left side I chose to highlight the author of the talk with a large picture and keeping consistent on the right side (page 1) with the cover of the booklet only using one of the color palette colors to make it stand out from the rest of the text.

Booklet - (various pages)...I chose to highlight these two pages within the booklet to show how the color palette was carried throughout via the subtitles, backgrounds, the body text itself and the pullout quote. The lines for the pullout quote were also used throughout to keep consistency.
